Coming Back
I had a personal website for almost 20 years. I channeled so much into it: Life milestones, along with the little things that brought daily joy. I loved sharing photos I had captured, home improvements, and my growing family. Eventually, it didn’t seem to serve a purpose anymore, and I deleted my domain. More than a decade has passed. No one really does this anymore. No one’s reading blogs. But nothing ever quite filled the unique void of staying up and tinkering with code until things looked exactly the way I had envisioned them. It was a great escape from chaos that I could indulge in whenever I had a quiet moment. I miss that. I decided to try again; to what end, I have no clue. I’m just going to enjoy it, and get a little piece of myself that got left behind when algorithms and endless scrolling replaced it all.
