What’s in the Code
I used to do this almost every day.
I edited every file in Windows Notepad; save, upload, refresh. There was a time when I could sit for hours doing this until the browser in front of me was an exact replication of what I had mapped out in my mind, and I loved it. Now, I’m sneaking into the home office for a brief yet overwhelming refresher on all of this 2012-era code that used to feel like a fluent second language. It will come back to me, and then, I will try to catch up on a decade-plus of updates.
